Tulix Systems Now Developing Applications for Amazon Fire TV
ATLANTA, GA – December 16, 2014 - Tulix
Systems, a leading provider of end-to-end over-the-top (OTT) streaming
solutions and CDN services, today announced that it has begun offering
application development for Amazon Fire TV and the Amazon Fire TV Stick.
Through custom applications developed by Tulix, broadcasters and content owners
can stream and monetize live and VOD content on any Amazon Fire TV device.
Tulix develops streaming applications for all major
OTT platforms, including Android, Google TV, Roku, and iOS. The Amazon Fire TV
was released in April of 2014 and has been selling beyond expectations. Amazon
recently announced that the new Fire TV Stick is Amazon’s “fastest-selling
device ever.”
With more and more consumers adopting the Fire TV, Tulix
looks to help its customers make their content available on the platform
through custom apps in the Fire TV store. “There are more devices than ever to
consume streamed content,” said Nino Doijashvili, EVP of Tulix Systems. “Our
responsibility is to help our customers reach as many viewers as possible in
the most cost-effective manner. Amazon Fire TV is a rapidly growing platform
that broadcasters and content owners will absolutely want to reach.”
After a research and development phase that included
numerous successful test deployments, Tulix is now offering custom streaming application
development for Amazon Fire TV. Tulix’s live and VOD content management systems
are fully compatible with the platform, and synchronize content across Fire TV
and all other OTT platforms developed by the company. All applications support
the whole spectrum of streaming services Tulix offers, including subscription
and pay-per-view monetization, cloud DVR archiving, linear playout, adaptive
bitrate streaming, and more.
